Octavio Caruso was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is a writer, film critic, producer, actor, screenwriter and independent filmmaker. He has released two books and seven short films to date (2022). He started as a film critic in 2008, he was a member of the Rio de Janeiro Film Critics Association, he also worked in various media outlets, such as "Jornal do Brasil". As an actor, Octavio started in 2002, he took the stage several times, including as a singer, but his greatest passion is to stimulate cultural mining, forming dedicated cinephiles who value the preservation of artistic memory, in addition to scripting and directing for cinema.
