Michael Alexander Lopez is an independent filmmaker based in Fresno, California. He has directed over 500 hours of live television for Fresno's CBS affiliate and has produced, written, and directed three films: the feature The Life of a Stranger and the shorts Asleep Blinking and Endgame. A prolific screenwriter, his feature-length screenplay based on Endgame was a Quarterfinalist in the 2025 Page International Screenwriting Awards and a Semifinalist in the 2025 Final Draft Big Break Screenwriting Contest. Michael is developing a feature about his father's experiences during the Vietnam War and has completed two additional feature screenplays, all marked by his signature psychological depth and artistic vision.
