Alan Zhang (born 16 February 1983) is an American SAG actor. Graduated from NYFA in 2013, he has successfully portrayed a wide range of characters in different films and TV series. He made himself noticed by appearing in Hollywood film 'Revenge of the Green Dragons' as BTK Kid (Director - Wai-Keung Lau, Executive Producer - Martin Scorsese). Being able to speak Mandarin, Cantonese and a good variety of Chinese dialects gives him an edge to act in China, where the film industry is booming. Since 2013, he has already starred in about twenty films/TV series internationally. His works are recognized by the public and film professionals, many of them are nominated for awards. Recently, he was nominated Best Actor by China International Youth Film Festival in October 2016, and by Asia Micro Films Art Festival in June 2016. With his raising reputation as a professional actor, he was invited to be award presenter with A-list celebrities including Jackie Chan for a lot of influential awarding ceremonies, including Star Show Person of the Year Awarding Ceremony (2016), Mooncherry Fashion Elite Ceremony (2015) and The Mainland, Taiwan and Hong Kong 'Top 10 Chinese Films' Festival etc. He has just been interviewed by SinoVision as a famous actor in Chinese speaking film market and his alma mater NYFA as an outstanding graduate.
