His most recent film, Ha Lyngkha Bneng (The Elysian Field), had its world premiere at the 47th Moscow International Film Festival, where it won Best Film (Golden Saint George), Best Director, and the NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film, making it one of the most awarded Indian films at the festival.
