Alessandro Giraudo, historian and economist, has worked in Turin, Milan, New York, Amsterdam, Zurich, Geneve and most recently Paris, where he is currently Chief Economist of the international group Tradition Viel. He has written many books including Money Tales, Au temps des comptoirs : Les marchands à la conquête du monde (with Philippe Chalmin), Nerf de la guerre, Mithes et legends économiques.
