Student Rudy

Tap Rudra is a New York City actor, improv and sketch performer, and musician who has done major brand commercial work and regularly performs on New York comedy stages, including at The Second City, the PIT, and Caveat Theater. Tap has trained with Seth Barrish and Lee Brock at The Barrow Group, as well as Pamela Scott at T. Schreiber in acting. Improv training includes work with Sebastian Conelli, Pat Swearingen, and Jennifer Bareilles. Recently he performed on stage with Wilson Cruz (My So-Called Life, Star Trek: Discovery) in a new play at Royal Family Productions, directed by Chris Henry. He produces a regular variety show at The PIT which features music and comedy performances from up-and-coming talent. Tap plays guitar, which features frequently in his independent film work and on stage at his variety show. Tap additionally works in film-making as a director, editor, script supervisor, and editor.
