Katie Cooke was born in the small town of Creston, BC. She was raised on a farm and educated in a private school. Katie is the second child and oldest daughter of her mother's 12 children.

Katie has always been drawn to the arts. At 5 years old she began violin lessons of which she studied for 9 years. At the age of 7 she also began highland dance, which she trained in for 7 years.

At 18, Katie got engaged to her childhood sweetheart; they were married one year later. Shortly after turning 21, Katie gave birth to her first child, a beautiful little girl. 2 1/2 years later she had a son.

At the age of 26, the mother of 2 children, made the life-changing decision to become an actress. With a great deal of courage, passion, determination and trust, in March 2012, Katie made the move to Vancouver to begin her career as an actress.
