He was born on February 6, 1976 in Ptuj, Yugoslavia, now Slovenia. He developed an early interest in art during his childhood, especially in painting, writing, music, photography, and film, which has been his biggest passion. In college, he studied history and theology as well as Slovenian and Slovenian literature, but he dropped out after his first visit of a film workshop. His creativity was focused on production and directing music videos. He has shot more than 300 music videos in the past years for artist from Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Germany and Italy such as Tinkara Kovac, Trkaj, Die Keiser, Maria Masle, Leeloojamais, Make Up 2, Anika Horvat, Anze Palka, Polona Furlan, Drumartica, etc. His career took path as an assistant director and editor for several documentaries and promo videos while he also worked as a writer for radio and television. Lately, he's been working on his own projects as a producer and a director. He made his film debut with feature film Exit. Ksana is his second feature film in now post production. As of 2015 he's working on pre production on his third feature film When river has 28°. Among his favorite directors are Stanley Kubrick, Andrei Tarkovsky, Terrence Malick, David Lean, Bernardo Bertolucci, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Ingmar Bergman, Clint Eastwood, Martin Scorsese Milos Forman, Coen Brothers, David Fincher, Darren Aronofsky, David Lynch, Wong Kar Wai,....
