Vincent Toujas is a French screenwriter and director. He develops projects for cinema, theater and television. A scientist by training, former math teacher and ping-pong coach, in 2014 he decided to follow his passion and became an author and director. His short films have been selected at festivals, and his short series Merci, for which he is showrunner, won the prize for best short series at the Festival de La Fiction de La Rochelle. He co-wrote L'invulnérable (dir. Lucas Bacle), selected at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival, and is developing an American feature film with Mike Macari (The Ring). Today, he is the scriptwriter of a film destined for a platform. At the same time, he is writing two TV series: one about the particle gas pedal in Geneva, the other about a midwife in a suburban hospital. His theater credits include Cartable and Bonsoir Charlie, and he explores daring themes such as quantum physics in L'Affaire Boson and virtual identity in Capture. As director of a documentary on Les Clowns Stéthoscopes, he continues to break down barriers and give a voice to the voiceless, always with an eye to joyfully contributing to the common narrative of our times.
