SHNO is a Dutch business professional and creative based in London. Her early creative work started in the Netherlands in the music and film industry. She landed her first role in a short film (Impius) in 2012. The following year, she was offered a place at Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York but Instead, she chose to be trained in East15 in London, graduating from the MA program in 2016 and has made London her home ever since.

After training, she worked on independent film and voice-over projects. She later transitioned into a career in the technology sector and works in business development for tech companies in Europe. She has a Bachelor's degree in Business Entertainment and a Master in Fine Arts.

As a Dutch, English and Kurdish Sorani speaker, trained in Martial Arts, her work spanned independent film and voice-over performances in VR video games, including Squid Game and Deadwood Mansion as the lead narrating voice for the European market. For her leading role in the short film Minah, she has won multiple Best Actress awards at international film festivals in 2020. The following year she reached more than 100.000 streams on Spotify with her debut EP.

The independent feature film Stoffig Licht, in which she plays the complex character Amira premiered in a Dutch cinema in 2025. The short film Caged, which addresses women’s freedom and rights, won Best Director (Anastasia Marshall) at the South Italy International Film Festival and Best Film at the LA Independent Women Film Awards.
