Dr. Max is a clinical forensic psychologist by training. He has evaluated thousands of criminals and regularly testifies as an expert witness in criminal and civil cases. He has worked with everyone from those with mild adjustment difficulties to psychopathic first-degree murderers.

He is also a behavioral profiler, creating interesting and accurate portraits of individuals who are on the run. He is an expert in legal and ethical issues, and he taught at the University of Denver for 12 years.

Dr. Max works for KUSA-TV in Denver, Colorado as the "9News Psychologist." He produces original content and provides expert commentary on crime/psych stories.
