Tyler Holmes

Spencer Foley is a Canadian Screen Award nominated and Leo Award winning producer, and screenwriter, based in Vancouver. His debut feature film "When the Ocean Met the Sky" (screenwriter, producer) went on to win over 16 awards internationally and sell to The Orchard Distribution (now called 1091 Media).

Spencer produced the short film "The Fish & The Sea," which was nominated by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Live Action short in 2019. The film was picked up for distribution by Travelling Distribution and also aired on the CBC in the summer of 2019. He also produced Thomas' follow up short film "Cake Day" which was long listed for the 2021 Academy Awards. It went on to win best BC Short at VIFF, , along with playing at LA Shorts, Fantasia Film Festival, and the Academy qualifying Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival. Cake Day was also a Coppola Short Film Contest Top 10 Semi-Finalist. Cake Day is distributed by H264 and air on the CBC Network.

Spencer has worked on the production teams as Production Manager of two New Regency (The Revenant, The Northman, Birdman)/ Automatik (Insidious, Honey Boy)/ Oddfellows (Sweet Virginia, Little Fish) mini series: "Gaslight" starring Jessica Rothe and Kelsey Asbille, and "Ellen" starring Lin Shaye. He also has Production Managed "GenZeroes", the first NFT live action series starring the infamous WWE star Paul "Big Show" Wight from the showrunners of ScyFy network's "Van Helsing."

His understanding of narrative paired with his knowledge of production creates a unique and in-depth atmosphere for collaboration and filmmaking.
