Douglas Browning

The most recognized actor from his home area, Mitch Browne was born and raised in Kwinana, Western Australia. He attended high school at Shenton College where he began and developed his acting career. His first role was in the cult documentary The Nooklabs (2007).

Mitch then moved to larger roles, playing the character Browning in four seasons of the drama series Physics Men and won several supporting actor independent awards for this.

Throughout 2010 and 2011, he was often cast under rising director Samuel Foster in short film projects as well as appearing in some of his acclaimed documentaries. From this, Mitch gained widespread recognition amongst fellow actors and in the community. He won for lead actor two years in a row at the Shenton Independent film festival.

During his time there, Shenton College was renowned for its comedy film industry and after graduating, Mitch's acting career is now mainly focused on working with comedic producers and their projects in the near future.
