Thomas Antony Olajide is a Canadian Screen Award, Two-Time Dora Mavor Moore Award nominated actor of screen and stage.

Thomas began his training under Brenda Crichlow at the Brenda Crichlow Acting Studio in Vancouver, British Columbia while attending high school. Upon graduation, he was accepted into the National Theatre School of Canada.

His theatrical work has taken him across Canada, and would eventually lead him to the Stratford Festival for two seasons, namely, in King Lear and Hamlet, for which he was presented the Peter Donaldson award for great skill in Shakespeare and the Classics by the festival's artistic Director. Thomas has also had the privilege of being nominated twice for the Dora Mavor Moore awards, Toronto's equivalent of the Tonys. From there, Olajide attended the Canadian Film Centre.

To date, Thomas has amassed a significant body of work including Mariner (2016 TIFF Top Ten Official Selection and 2021 TIFF Black Future Selection), Inhuman Condition (2017 Canadian Screen Award Nominee for Best Digital Program), and White Lie (2020 TIFF Official Selection and Canadian Screen Award Nominee for Best Picture). Thomas has also recently appeared in the French-Language Québécois television series Les Nomades II, a recurring role for which he was nominated for Best Actor at the 2020 Prix Gémeaux.

Thomas starred as Dezi in Thyrone Tommy's debut feature film, Learn to Swim. His performance was recognized with a 2022 Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, and an ACTRA Award nomination for Outstanding Performance.

Learn to Swim premiered at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival where Thomas was also named a TIFF Rising Star. The film made its theatrical release March 2022 and was distributed internationally by Ava Duvernay's distribution company, Array.

Most recently, he guest starred on AMC's Interview With A Vampire and stars in CTV's new drama series The Spencer Sisters. Next, he can be seen starring as Francis in Ben Louis Nicholas' Short Film , A Tune, as well as in D.W. Waterson's upcoming feature film, Backspot starring Devery Jacobs, Evan Rachel Wood, and Shannyn Sossamon. Backspot is Executive Produced by Elliot Page.
