Jay's first acting role, age 6, was as Jamie in the moving and eerie short film Mud Boy - which involved hour upon hour of being covered in mud, buried in mud and on the final day climbing on top of a shed. In the last couple of years, he has consistently shown that he is a very natural film actor with a mature sense of timing that makes life very easy for the directors he works with.
