Donnie Maynard Christianson is the Director, Writer, and Composer of the Star Force 7 animated fantasy film trilogy. Donnie also produces original ambient music under the moniker "Circuit Scream" and recently released a new single. His music blends rock, metal, trance, orchestral, ambient, soundscapes and 80's neoclassical shred to create a unique brand of scifi-inspired ambient guitar rock, often pitting melodic, bowed electric guitars against a backdrop of grinding synth bass and Marshall-driven rhythms cranked to 11. As a session guitarist, he previously toured and recorded with numerous rock and heavy metal bands throughout the 80's and 90's, including Jon Mikl Thor (of Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare fame), Christina Raine, and Silverwing. "Star Force 7: The Chill of Distant Eyes" is Donnie's directorial debut and is being produced by Circuit Scream Films and Greysun Productions, LLC, both based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The film will be released online July 17, 2015.
