Lauren Ashley Orlando is a university trained, accomplished actor and singer with a wide variety of professional experience. Her extensive and varied background includes theatre- favorite characters ranging from community theatre to Off- Broadway, as well as commercials and television.

Lauren graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a Bachelor's Degree in Acting and Musical Theatre. Here she had the pleasure of working on Bright Lights, Big City with Jason Gotay and Emmy Raver-Lampman. Ms. Orlando has had the wonderful opportunity to work with many great teachers and directors such as Paul Gemignani, Charles Strouse, and Daren Cohen.

Lauren has worked professionally doing voice- overs in commercials, both in the states and overseas, one of which was national. She has starred in numerous internet commercials in the past few years. Before the pandemic, Lauren starred as an action hero in a short film called Inbetween, and had two co-star roles for Investigation Discovery's Dead of Winter and Evil Lives Here. Most recently, Lauren reenacted Michelle McNamara based on her book, I'll Be Gone in the Dark on HBO. During the pandemic Lauren voiced the character of Disco on a new cartoon series, Midnight Mares and played Lauren in a short film called Doom Chat which just won best Dark Comedy at the Austin Film Festival this year. This year, Lauren has had the pleasure of working in production with a supporting role in the movie Camp Joy where she worked with Vivian A. Fox, Sean Ringgold, and Eric Roberts, a series regular in a new series called A 1000 Miles.

Lauren recently finished writing a feature length film called Ms. Julie: a story full of laughs, passion and some heartbreak. Ms. Julie takes you out of your own head and through an unconventional affair. Lauren is now starting to work on a new concept piece called Country Men, exploring a modern world with a prominent twist.

Lauren holds a second-degree black belt in classical Okinawan Karate from Gonosen Karate Dojo in Peekskill, New York. She is trained in nun chuck, kama, and bo staff. Lauren has recently discovered a passion for boxing, as well. In her free time, Lauren prefers to be in nature hiking or boating on the Hudson River.
