At the tender age of 7 Rik Aby, was hand chosen along with a select few to showcase the 1986 Opera Rendition of ,Hansel and Gretel with a professional opera troop from the UK, since then Rik was hooked. After class clowning, Rik found a voice, in Voice Over work before finding his calling again in acting after graduating from high school. Rik graduated to scoring the highest grade in the first Acting course taught in the UAE in 2002. After averaging 50 shorts, with honorable mentions and awards worldwide, Rik left school in 2007 to chase his dream of becoming an Actor. After a stint in some award winning commercials, Rik came back to university to complete his degree, as a Mass Communications, Major. Rik established himself the UAE'S first Method Actor. Rik landed his first Supporting Role the Nigerian Kuba in his Junior Year at university with the UAE feature, Royal Love with notable local names, including Mansoor Al Feeli. Rik met Michael Bay's Stunt Director, Kenny Bates who worked with him on the UAE, Telgu South Indian film directed by Sunjeeth, starring, Prahbahas .Rik guest starred as the antagonist Cpt. James Folk in Saaho. India came knocking again when Rik was cast the first UAE resident talent, as Jasser a Saudi Farmer, in South Indian Prolific Director, Blessy in AR Rahaman's comeback to his roots, the Fictional Bio Pic starring Prithviraj and Hollywood Actor, Jimmy Jean Louis Aeedui Javeetham (The Goatlife)which was scored by Academy Award Winner, AR Rahaman and Sound Design was done by Academy Award Winner, Resul Pekooty. It's been touted as being India's film in the Oscars for the year 2024.

In March of 2019 history was made when, Rik would later be top billed in the first Hollywood film shot entirely in the UAE, Directed by Die Hard 2 Director, Renny Harlin, starring Pierce Brosnan, Tim Roth and Nick Cannon, in his first Supporting Role in a Hollywood film. Which was released in 2021, and screened twice due to it's high viewership on demand platforms in the US and elsewhere. Recently Rik Aby did his 3rd Bollywood Film in Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga with, Sunny Kaushal and Yami Gautam directed by, Ajay Singh that came in 2nd place on all Netflix platforms worldwide, including coming as Number 1 when it first released in the UAE, India, Pakistan, Argentina as well as other countries.

After 2 years Rik will be included among a list of international and regional Actors as Professor Daud, in the popular, Pakistani Graphic Novel, Inspector Jamshed, Directed by Fahad Ibn Nur written by, Eric Berg and Starring, Omar Rana and Anoushy Abbassi with Hollywood Actor, Faran Tahir (Iron Man) which is slated to release in December of 2023. With a full slate of projects ahead of him Rik's journey is just starting.
