Daniel Gross, 39, is a freelance film editor, and has been an avid enthusiast of professional film production since his early childhood years. Daniel's career began to take shape at E.O. Smith High School, where he became a prominent staple of the school's video program, while also interning at his local public access TV station; he went on to direct numerous short films and documentaries, including promotional and training videos for the American Red Cross, the National 2006 NIRSA Conference, the Summit Corporation of America, and the William Benton Museum of Art. Daniel obtained his undergraduate education as an Honors student at the University of Connecticut, where he also became involved in video production for various UConn departments and services. Daniel has since been involved in photography, editing, and consultation for multiple film productions and websites (some of them government-funded), and now holds an M.F.A. in Film Production from the University of Southern California. In addition, he has also completed a prestigious development internship for renowned film director Louis Leterrier, a staff editor position for Face First Films (an Emmy-winning documentary film company), assistant-editor jobs on numerous projects for Amazon, Shudder, Tubi, and Netflix, and has also worked on an HBO movie produced by Oprah Winfrey, and an episode of A&E's famed true-crime series "The First 48".
