Marla Seidell is a versatile Chicago-based actor, writer, and host known for portraying the "perfectly messy" human experience. With over 40 film credits, she has become a staple of the independent film circuit. She recently earned a Best Supporting Actress award for her portrayal of a fading B-movie star in Private Screening, a performance that showcased her signature blend of deadpan humor and emotional depth.

A Fulbright Scholar and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hofstra University, Marla brings an intellectual rigor to her craft. She is a graduate of the Annoyance and ComedySportz programs and continues her professional development with renowned coaches Amy Lyndon, James Dumont, and Shakespearean expert Susan Hart. Beyond acting, Marla is a trained vocalist developing a unique, quirky singing style at Lyriq Music School. Her physical repertoire includes ballroom dance (Salsa and Bachata), Yoga, and Pilates. She is also proficient in German. When not performing, she is an avid baker, often found perfecting recipes for pizza, cookies and muffins.
