Marianne Bates is an Emmy Award-winning writer and producer with a strong track record of creating compelling, thoughtful content. With 11 Emmy nominations honoring her work in both writing and producing, she has received three Emmy Awards (two for writing and one for producing) for her work with Amalgamated Grommets.

Her commitment to the television industry extends beyond production. Marianne currently (From 2023 to present) serves as Treasurer and Co-Awards Chairperson for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - Pacific Southwest Chapter, where she plays a key role in celebrating regional excellence. From 2011 to 2024, she also served on the Board of San Diego MediaPros (formerly MCAI-International), contributing to the growth and connection of local media professionals.
