Barri Chase is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. She is of mixed-indigenous descent and a member of the Southeastern Cherokee Council, which has influenced her craft of telling cross-cultural, relatable stories.

Barri is the director of the upcoming film, David, which is the retelling of the classic biblical tale.

After a career in beauty, fashion, and fine-art photography, she focused on being a cinematographer and then became a director of music videos, shorts, and feature films. Barri immerses herself into the story and utilizes the environment as a character in any film she directs.
