David Melendez is noted for writing, directing, and producing award-winning movies, as well as music videos for hip hop, Christian, and reggaeton artists. He has also written, directed, and produced television shows and nationally broadcasted commercials for various nationally branded companies including Habitat For Humanity, Lil' Anglers, Kid Casters, Seekin's Precision, and Muvico Theaters. Under his production company, StudioHousePictures, David has produced several award-winning film shorts and a feature that have been purchased for world wide distribution.

Though his slate of movies vary in genres (crime drama, romance, comedy, and horror), Melendez's work tends to favor stories which explore the dark side of the human psyche.
