Officer Jimmy Todd

Born Matthew Thomas Bright in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As a child growing up in a still mostly industrial city, he began playing the guitar to fill an artistic drive he had. He fronted two bands, but his dream was never to be a musician. Always with the desire to perform and make people laugh, he began doing stand-up at the age of 15 in local comedy clubs. He placed second in the 2007 Pittsburgh Comedy Relief contest and has featured for several notable comedians.

Aside from performing, film had been Matthew's obsession from a very young age. He had dreams of being a Director and Screenwriter. After graduating high school in 2006, he was accepted into the Cinema and Digital Arts conservatory at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. While studying there, he realized that the desire to perform was starting to overshadow his desire to write. Matthew left film school after that year and began pursuing acting. In 2009 he moved to New York City after being accepted to the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. While in New York, he resided in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn. The place he says he will retire to someday.
