At an early age Daniel Hunter developed a love for the arts growing up in the Washington D.C. Metro area. An alum of Berklee College of Music and Video Symphony, Daniel went on to work for Haslinger Productions, Danetracks, Gray Martin Studios, and Sony/ATV Music Publishing where he now holds a position of Music Supervision Associate with Extreme Music. Daniel has worked with over eleven television networks in the post production realm and has cut his teeth into shows such as HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, MTV's Making His Band, Awkward., The Hard Times of RJ Berger and FX's The League.

His passion for post production led him to establish Postinblack.com; an educational blog that is dedicated to creating awareness in the African American Community for the Post Production Arts.

Daniel's first film as Writer/Director, Know Your Role had its official World Premiere at the 2011 African American ShortsFest held at historic Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, California. Daniel's work in post production included a supervising on the award winning short film God and Vodka, a collaboration between the independently owned production companies Solo Journey Productions and Rushaway Pictures. God and Vodka has been selected to over 20 film festivals throughout the United States and has won numerous awards, including Audience Choice and Jury Awards for Best Film.

In Ferbruary of 2013, Daniel co-founded the literary and lifestyle blog Writersandhunters.com along with his brother David Hunter, Jr.

Daniel spends his nights creating in Brooklyn, NY.
