Danielle Prou is an emerging young talent with a unique look -- a true multi-cultural American. Her mother is a half-Cambodian half-Chinese refugee from the Killing Fields, who came to the US as a teenager, speaking no English. Danielle's father is a 4th-generation American - born of Spanish heritage. Danielle started acting on the stage at 6 years old, doing a number of musicals including Oklahoma, in which she won the lead role of Laurey. At 8 she decided she was serious about acting and began to study and work on camera. Already in her young career she has been in numerous student films, several commercials, a music video, a TV sitcom pilot and the pilot for the web series "The Breakdown." In 2009 she played the lead in the short film "grace in SARA," (which will debut at festivals in 2010) in which she acted opposite Eva La Rue as her child therapist. Danielle is a true triple-threat, as she also sings and dances. She is a founding principal member of two retro Broadway performance troupes -- the Paper Dollz (40s) and Little Darlings (50s) -- which are produced by Dollface Entertainment, the producer of the professional retro troupe the Satin Dollz.
