Christopher Lane was born in Oshawa, ON, Canada. He is a Writer, Producer, Director, Author and Educator. Best Known for Silent Music a Documentary focusing on the years composer Eric James worked and collaborated with Charlie Chaplin as well as Gamer Girlz. Christopher has worked in the film and television community for nearly two decades. He has an extensive catalog of work spanning from music videos, fashion, commercials, PSAs, corporate videos, travel and nature videos as well as documentaries, films and television. He is also passionate about preserving and sharing the storied history of early cinema and has lectured widely on not only film history topics but many others as well. Christopher is currently commissioned to pen two film history books as well as a book chronicling conversations with acclaimed Director William Friedkin to be released in 2018. Other duties include being the Director and lead programmer for the TFS Festival of Films, Judge for the Vaughan International Film Festival and on the Jury for The Golden Panda International Film Festival awards from China.
