Yaniv Elani is an editor known for his work in comedy and documentaries, many of which have screened at top film festivals and been distributed by HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and PBS. Recent work includes the Emmy and Peabody winning Netflix documentary "Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa," directed by Lucy Walker (TIFF 2023); the Hulu documentary "Child Star" directed by Demi Lovato and Nicola Marsh, and the Emmy-nominated HBO documentary "MoviePass, MovieCrash" directed by Muta'Ali (SXSW 2024). Other notable documentary features include "Of Night and Light: The Story of Iboga and Ibogaine" directed by Lucy Walker (Tribeca 2023), "This Is Not Financial Advice" directed by Chris Temple and Zach Ingrasci (Tribeca 2023), and "Rebel Hearts" directed by Pedro Kos (Sundance 2021). Yaniv is also a longtime editor at Dropout, formerly known as CollegeHumor, and regularly returns to edit various scripted and unscripted shows including "Game Changer," "Kingpin Katie" and "Monét's Slumber Party," hosted by Monét X Change. He is a graduate of USC's School of Cinematic Arts and based in Los Angeles.
