Ben Bernschneider, born April 6th 1976, wrote several scripts at the Kölner Filmhaus after studying German - and American studies. He worked for WDR, MTV and atlantique films as an assistant director to finally win several prizes, including The One Show/Gold, the golden award of Montreaux, Gold World Medal at the New York Festival, a Grand Award NYC and many others while working 5 Years for the prestigious German agency weigertpirouzwolf.

Since April '05 Ben Bernschneider works as an author and director for music videos, commercials and the first German underground- mystery-pod cast-series "sinister bay". His last full-length prime-time-Pro7-thriller-script "Gonger" will air on German TV in the Fall of 2008.

In 2008 Ben is working on a sequel to "Gonger" with his fellow co-writer Erol Yesilkaya. Besides that on one romantic comedy and the action-thriller "project Ikarus".
