As an editor, Anthony Marinelli was nominated for an AICE Award in 2001 for NY Dept. of Tourism's first post-911 commercial. He was also the editor on the Webby Award-winning documentary "Alicia in Africa," featuring Alicia Keys and most recently a co-writer, co-producer and co-editor on David Seth Cohen's award-winning documentary, "Finding Sandler" featuring Adam Sander.

As a filmmaker, he is the winner of Best Original Screenplay for "Acoustic Space," (Richmond International Film Festival) which he also directed and edited, and which also won Best Short Film in the Ridgewood International Film Festival. Another short film he directed and edited, "Walt Whitman Never Paid For It," won the Audience Choice Award at the Richmond Film Festival. Other shorts including "Subway"(2010) which aired on PBS's Reel 13 and "Marital Arts" (2017) which appeared in the Chelsea, Big Apple and Cannes Film Festivals (to name a few). His latest short, "Why I Had to Kill You While You Slept," is an Official Selection in the Chelsea Film Festival, making its New York premiere.

"Life Sucks," his feature-length screenplay about a 100 year-old vampire who falls in love with a man about to commit suicide, won the Best Original Screenplay Award in the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival and was a finalist in the Strange Days Horror Fest. His short screenplay, "Dream Girl" was a finalist in the Big Apple Screenplay Competition and won Best Screenplay in the Los Angeles Film Awards.

His goal is to keep making the kinds of films he wants to see.
