Christian Matyi has been a catch-all performer his whole life, as well as a writer and artist. His main love is spoken word, but he has a long amateur background in acting for the stage. His interest in film was an organic offshoot of his love of storytelling, which is his primary fascination.

Educated at Carnegie Mellon University, Christian has worked as a creative professional in many capacities, ranging from writing and design to performance and acting. He was also the host of a radio program in the late 00's called The Big Inside, which was later converted for a time into a podcast of the same name.

Christian has been a longtime Bostonian, and is passionate about residing in "The Commonwealth," or the state of Massachusetts. His love of stories and cultural theory has made him an avid amateur scholar on contemporary culture as well as historical cultural development, particularly in New England, This passion informs much of his interest in performing, often seeking to generate curiosity in audiences for "deeper stories" that are often forgotten or erased.

Christian continues to eagerly seek small film and stage roles as well as lending his irreverent wit to emcee and speaking performances.
