Gonzalo Ladines is the co-creator of the web series Los Cinéfilos ("The Cinephiles", with over 33 million views), the film Como en el Cine ("Just Like in The Movies", winner of the Audience Award at NewFilmmakers LA - sponsored by the Hollywood Academy, 236,000 viewers), co-writer of Viejos Amigos ("Good Old Boys", 500,000 tickets sold, Best Peruvian Film at the Lima Film Festival 2014), and co-writer and producer of the first Peruvian film sold for international remakes.

His second film as director, writer, and producer, Muerto de Risa ("The Last Laugh"), was awarded a scholarship by the Carolina Foundation, won the Production Award from the Ministry of Culture, received Best Comedy, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor at the Lonely Wolf International Festival, and was nominated for the Peruvian Film Press Association Awards.

Gonzalo also works as a commercial director, teacher, and script consultant.
