Jennielyn Abrot is a Filipino-American producer, actress, filmmaker, philanthropist, and breast cancer survivor. She is the founder and owner of JAR Entertainment. Prior to this, Abrot served as a Development and Creative Executive for various management and film financing/production firms, where she oversaw multiple film slates. Abrot worked on several films with star-studded cast including Lovelace (Amanda Seyfried, James Franco); Solitary Man (Michael Douglas, Susan Surandon, Jessie Eisenberg); Death And Life of Bobby Z (Paul Walker, Olivia Wilde); Trust (Clive Owen, Catherine Keener); and As Good As Dead (Andie McDowell, Carey Elwes). Abrot is currently in post-production (2024) on a film based and shot in the Philippines with award-winning Filipino filmmakers and producers.

In November 2023, Abrot spearheaded the first successful Filipino Film Festival in Los Angeles, held at Occidental College. The three-day event drew over 900 attendees on opening night and featured curated screenings, industry panels, a special VR presentation, and a gala awards night. The festival was sponsored by Occidental College, Oxy Arts, Warner Bros. Discovery, ABS-CBN, TFC, and others.

As a breast cancer survivor, Abrot was honored as a "Crucial Catch Captain" in 2020 by the NFL, Los Angeles Rams, and Cedars-Sinai. In 2022, she was nominated as a "Visionary of the Year" by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She has also hosted and moderated panels featuring award-winning and Academy-nominated film professionals.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Abrot is a classically trained actor and attended CalArts as a California Arts Scholar in Theater and Performing Arts. She was awarded the Governor's Medallion for Theater by the State of California at Paramount Pictures. She earned her B.A. in Art History and Visual Arts, with an emphasis in Film and Media Studies, from Occidental College.
