Co-owner, producer and head writer at Temple Gate Films, Mark Rickerby has authored several books and contributed stories to over 25 Chicken Soup for the Soul titles and numerous magazines, such as Black Belt and Inside Kung Fu. He is the co-creator, producer, and head writer of Harmony, a western series in development. He has written or co-written a variety of screenplays in various stages of development. A short film script based on one of his short stories won Bravo channel's annual grand prize. A fiction story he wrote for Black Belt magazine inspired the editor to end a ban on fiction of over 20 years and was called a "masterpiece" by one reviewer. Mark has a degree in stage acting and has been a gypsy of writing classes for decades. He also works part-time as a script supervisor, copy editor, and ghost writer. A word nerd of the highest order, Mark has been awash in a sea of words his entire adult life, and very happy to be there.
