Jack Piandaryan's career in the American film industry began in 1984 as a projectionist at an independent sound post-production facility, formerly known as Danny Harris / JDH Sound, inc. In 1987, Piandaryan moved to a new facility with his fellow coworkers, sound engineers, and sound mixers. They were part of Skywalker Sound South, a division of Skywalker Sound / Lucasfilm Ltd. at 3000 Olympic Blvd. in Santa Monica. Piandaryan established a new standard in the studio screening systems and was also involved with screenings of Tom Kobayashi's simplified post-production method using the digital telephone technology "Tie-Line". This allowed editors and mixers at Skywalker Ranch to playback completed work pictures interlocked with sound to directors and producers in Skywalker Sound South. In 1997, Piandaryan worked at 20th Century Fox's projection department on the lot. Although Piandaryan's employment there was brief, only under eight months, he managed to set and implement a new higher standard using disruptive methods to the old ways of screenings at the studios for the future. Skywalker Sound South, which operated in Santa Monica from 1987 was later renamed Todd-AO Studios West, Liberty Media, and then CSS Studios where Piandaryan worked until 2007. Piandaryan moved on to make his film "The Parallel", through his production company Piandaryan Films, LLC. In 2005 and released "The Parallel" in 2007. He continued to work as a projectionist/sound assistant at two Todd-AO facilities in Studio City and Santa Monica, and as a freelance projectionist at Jerry Bruckheimer Films in Santa Monica until 2007, and Deluxe Laboratories in Hollywood until 2010. Today, Piandaryan works at Coast-to-Coast Marketing Advisors, LLC, and Piandaryan Films, preparing his upcoming film projects.
