Richard graduated from SCAD with a Bachelors in Film/TV Production. He writes for the website HorrorMovies.ca. He was nominated at the 2010 Action on Film Festival for 'Best Villain in a Short Film' for the movie 'The Red Hood'. He is in post-production on the film 'Night Wolf 3D".

A prolific writer, at the end of 2013 he met British model/actress Emma Dark and throughout the following year collaborated as writer on several aborted short film projects. During this time he would do an uncredited rewrite of an aborted low-budget Dracula feature film. His material isn't being used in the new version now entitled "The Mark of Dracula."

At the end of 2014 Emma Dark would approach about 'Seize the Night'; which along with herself and Meryln Roberts he would write and later become Co-Producer.

He is a Manager with the Regal Entertainment Group when not working on productions.
