Rachella Kingswijk, a multi-talented artist based in Paris, France, was raised in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and has Caribbean heritage.

She began her acting career at the Amsterdam Youth Theatre School at the age of eight. After performing in various stage plays for seven years, she hosted a children's TV show on AT5 at twelve. Her first major acting role was at fourteen when she played Captain Hook in the stage play Peter Pan. She later started acting in films and television shows.

As Rachella Kingswijk matured, she felt a strong pull back to her theatrical roots. She crafted a powerful and thought-provoking play, 'His Name Was Wolf,' which she performed at the Amsterdam Fringe Festival. This deeply personal work delved into the issue of human trafficking, a topic close to her heart. The play's impact was such that it earned her an invitation to perform for Beatrix, the former queen of the Netherlands, at a CoMensha congress focused on human trafficking victims.

In 2015, Kingswijk moved to Paris to study Performance Art at L'École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. After completing her studies, she landed a role as a physical actress and mime in the opera Benvenuto Cellini. She has since been involved in various Shakespearean productions. In 2021, she returned to the Paris Opera as a puppeteer for the title role in Aïda. This showcased her versatility in performance styles. In 2024-2025, she is part of the cast for Opera Garnier in Paris Les Brigands, directed by Barrie Kosky.

In 2023, Kingswijk made her directorial debut in the psychological thriller The Unraveling of Dahlia Brown, which will premiere in New York City in February 2025. The film is set to premiere in February 2025, and Rachella has already outlined the synopsis for additional films as a writer and director.
