Crystal grew up in Canada where she earned a Bachelor of Laws degree. After practicing law in Calgary AB and Vancouver BC, she moved to Australia to obtain a Masters of Law degree in Dispute Resolution. Although her education and career in law was invaluable, Crystal soon learned that she didn't really want to be a lawyer. She only wanted to play one on TV.

Her acting career started a little later in life than most, but then again, Crystal has never really been one to follow the norm. Almost two decades after moving to the NY Tri-State area, she finally threw caution to the wind and took that proverbial leap of faith into the career she always wanted and always needed - acting.

Crystal began acting in independent films where she has played a Fashion CEO with a hidden agenda in "Only For Now," a retired Broadway star and fiercely protective mother in "Lottie Baby" and most recently the Dean of a Liberal Arts School in "Almost Blue."

Crystal continues to work in the indie scene and looks forward to that "big break", which fingers crossed, is just around the corner.
