Elisha Dowber is an actress and writer based in Ontario. Elisha has done numerous shows at her college, The Canadian College of Performing Arts, including: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamCoat, Pride and Prejudice, Shrek: The Musical and The Festival of New Works where she participated in new works by other students. Elisha is an active member of her community theatre and was very involved in her high school theatre department, being in productions such as: Mamma Mia! (Belleville Theatre Guild), You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Centennial Secondary School Arts Department), A Christmas Carol (Northumberland Players), Mmmbeth: A Macbeth Parody (Centennial Secondary School Specialized Arts Program), Happy Days: The Musical (Centennial Secondary School Specialized Arts Program), Beauty and the Beast (Stirling Festival Theatre) and Seussical: the Musical (Stirling Festival Theatre). Elisha portrayed a townsperson in her first short film; The Wicked: Reborn, and looks forward to its release. Elisha has done many different jobs in the theatre to build a rounded experience of her career. She has done lighting design for a local production, The Binnies Reunion Tour and set design for Belleville Theatre Guild's production of Our Town. Elisha directed and wrote her first play, Hicksville, which was performed at the Canadian College of Performing Arts' Festival of New Works in 2023. Elisha hopes to continue her growth as a cast and crew member. In her spare time Elisha enjoys writing scripts for stage and hopes to stage one of her plays in the future. Elisha is a recent graduate at the Canadian College of Performing Arts where she learned discipline in acting, vocal work and dance. Elisha would like to thank her parents for being a continual support and inspiration in her journey as an artist.
