Born in Hartford Connecticut, John attended University Of Hartford and majored in Television and Film (BFA). He then went out to California and worked as a standup comic in such venues as The Comedy Store and The Improv. Between 1982-84 John toured the comedy college circuit and worked with some well-known comedians such as Sam Kennison and Andrew Dice Clay. He soon returned back to the East Coast where he started his own company, "Multimedia Video Productions". It was at Multimedia where John wrote, produced, edited and directed over 100 commercials and over 50 corporate videos for Fortune 500 and 100 companies. John sold Multimedia in 1995 and has produced & directed various independent projects such as Ralph Talk (1997), "Phone Psychics, Dialing for Dollars and is currently working on his second feature "Jay Mancini".
