Born in Shindkheda village of Dhule district, Maharashtra, Gautami belongs to the Marathi community and has captivated audiences with her dynamic performances in this traditional Maharashtrian dance form.

Gautami's journey to stardom was not easy. Her childhood was marked by her parents' divorce due to her father's alcoholism and domestic abuse. Despite limited traditional education, which she completed up to the 10th standard in Shindkheda, her passion for dance remained unwavering.

At a young age, Gautami actively participated in social gatherings and functions as a lead dancer. Her dedication led her to Pune, where she continued her dance practice at Rajshree Shahu Vidya Mandir and later joined the Vishwakala Dance Academy. While caring for her father in Pune, she and her mother faced numerous hardships, including her mother's accident that severely impacted their livelihood. Despite these setbacks, Gautami's determination never wavered.

Gautami's first major performance at the Akluj Lavani Mahotsav was a turning point, despite initial missteps. Her breakthrough came with a viral TikTok video showcasing her Lavani dance in a traditional Lugade saree, which garnered widespread acclaim. This exposure propelled her into the limelight, earning her the title of "Maharashtrian Dance Queen."

Beyond Lavani, Gautami has mastered other Maharashtrian folk dances like Lokdhara and Kola Dance, often performing at vibrant DJ shows. Her performances are marked by a thrilling and exhilarating rhythm, coupled with her skillful dance moves and flamboyant attire that captivate audiences.
