He won the GiO Novel Awards and received the "Achievement Award" with his novel Yedikuleli Mansur, published by Ithaki Publications in 2017. In 2019, he received the GiO Best Novel Award with his novel Istrancali Abdülharis Pasa from Ithaki Publications. He continues to write stories and articles in various media. He also makes weekly live broadcasts on the YouTube channel "SonGulyabani-Mehmet Berk Yaltirik" in the fields of history, literature and culture.
