Jamie Lynn Lowis was born in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Jeffrey Lowis and Cynthia Mattila. She is primarily of Finnish descent. Jamie attained a Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2015. She has worn several hats in the mental health field which include behavioral health program management, psychotherapy, and critical incident stress management facilitation.

Jamie has always had a passion for the arts and stepped in front of the camera for the first time in 2023 to pursue new creative ambitions. She began with a small role in the proof of concept for Room 108: Redemption, and quickly gained traction with casting in multiple MLC productions, including the drama series Union House Hotel and The Clinic on Washington Street. She portrayed Mollie Minahan in the docudrama proof of concept, The Scandalous Minahan Trials, inspired by the historical true crime novel by Lynda Drews, The Maid and the Socialite. Jamie has also appeared in Sanguine Teeth on a Driftless Road and has a role in What Have We Won, scheduled to film in summer 2025.
