Joshua Cartwright has a polymathic interest in subjects as diverse as neuro-psychology and first century archeology. An author of 21 books, he branched out into screenwriting in order to pursue his love of storying people's lives.

The Granny JJ Adventures: stories of an old South American detective grandmother who's strong sense of justice drives her to 'clean house' of criminal activitity in her local towns and villages. Written in Guyanese Creole (similar to Jamacian Patwa) this country-specific project features Guyanese actors and crew - and will be one of the first major Guyanese television series filmed in Guyana in years.

Imma - a first century young adult adventure about a girl with the ability to see the supernatural world. When she sees the 'divine' abilities of Jesus she follows Him - only to discover that that He has not come as a destroyer of Israel's enemies. After He refuses to use divine violence to save a wrongly arrested friend she turns bitter and starts to pursue a dangerous path. Will Jesus be able to show her who He truly is before she destroys herself? Or before His time on earth is done.

Assimilation: a modern retelling of Invasion of the Bodysnatchers with a twist. Imagine that you can hear the bodysnatchers 'talking' but no-one else can...
