Sarthwik Bollu is an Indian writer and director based out of Texas. Growing up in southern India, Sarthwik developed an appreciation for storytelling's power through encounters with literature and film. Reading Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of Baskervilles during high school and watching its cinematic adaptation sparked his interest in the emotional impact of imagery and sound.

His upbringing in a working-class family didn't deter his passion for filmmaking. Although initially unable to afford film school, Sarthwik's dedication only grew stronger with time. His debut short film, THE ROAD NOT TAKEN, emerged from personal frustrations and unfulfilled desires for decisive life choices. Inspired by Franz Kafka's Metamorphosis, the narrative revolves around a character's bold decision to pursue an acting career, leading to unforeseen consequences. His latest endeavor, ORGANIZIZED, a dark-humor project, is nearing completion in post-production.

Sarthwik's artistic perspective draws inspiration from the intimate and personal narratives of Martin Scorsese. He believes in filling his stories with soulful experiences and cultural nuances that everyone can relate to. Throughout his filmmaking journey, Sarthwik remains committed to sincerity and authenticity in storytelling, aiming to forge deep connections with audiences.
