Melvin is a Writer/Director/Producer from Pensacola, FL that studied film at the Art Institute Of Atlanta. After school he directed several music videos and short films that opened doors for him. Including an opportunity to direct Academy Award winning actor Denzel Washington in a commercial for the "All For Wheels Foundation". Shortly after he began studying under famed comedian /writer/director/producer Robert Townsend. Under the tutelage of Townsend, he gained a world of wisdom in the film industry and a passion for producing. Recently he has produced "One Hour" for Aspire TV, "South Haven" and "Black Cat's" for Mark Harris Productions. He is also the Executive Producer for "Make Up X Break Up" TV series for ALLBLK/AMC.
