Denetra Taylor fell in love with creative writing at an early age, but as the years passed she stopped writing and focused on life becoming a mother and a wife. In 2019 during COVID Denetra and her husband created Crimson Vibez Production a multi-media company based in the eastern region of North Carolina. Despite having no formal training, Denetra pursued her dream of becoming a screenwriter. The first script Denetra wrote is called The Feast. The Feast is about a 17th-century African Queen who is sold into slavery and becomes a modern-day vigilante. The Feast started as a full-feature film and was converted into an episodic series.

Denetra's second script which she wrote in 2022 is a full-feature film called Ani-Mom. Ani-Mom is about an unappreciated housewife who becomes a fan of anime, comic books, and mangas but she keeps it a secret from those she loves. Ani-mom was filmed in 2023, has been distributed, and is now featured in RM Entertainment Channel through several streaming apps.

Denetra's journey is a testament to resilience, creativity, and the power of self-belief. Drawing from the rich tapestry of her life experiences and the vibrant culture of Brooklyn, she has crafted stories that resonate deeply with audiences. Her unique voice and perspective have brought fresh, authentic narratives to the screen, proving that talent and determination can open doors.
