Shonee Samia is a Gold Coast-based actor, producer, and motion-capture performer. Founder of Mana Film Productions, she's an emerging producer recently returning from the 2024 Festival De Cannes (Cannes Film Festival) with David Cook for the "Heart of the Man" feature film that was selected through the Queer to Screen #GoesToCanne initiative. As a proud Maori-Samoan actor, she brings emotional depth, heart and truth to every role, with recent credits including starring as "The Tourist" in the feature film "The Nut Farm," "Soldier" in the Battlefield 6 video game (voice + motion capture) and recently "Ruff & Ruby," (web series) and "The Brutal Alchemy of Water" (Short film). The web series and short film are both up for consideration at the 2026 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards. Shonee also won "Best Actor and Lead Performance" at the "Yeah Nah Horror Festival" for her performance in "Ripe for Change." Trained in stunts she has officially obtained her first lead stunt double credit for a major US feature film set for a cinema release in 2026. A two-time Gold Coast Screen Professional of the Year nominee (2024/2025), Shonee continues to craft stories through her performances and storytelling abilities that embody mana, soul, heart and truth - both on screen and off.
