Sara Apple is an Iraqi-American writer, actress, curator, and filmmaker raised in Key West, Florida by artists. Her work explores the darkly comedic and subversive dimensions of human relationships. Deeply influenced by a life divided between the Florida Keys and New York City, she is writing a novel and has two feature films in development, including one co-written with Julia Fox. She resides in New York City.
