Mahdi Ebadi (born February 14, 2002, in Bamyan, Afghanistan) is an Afghan actor and film composer. He is also known by the nickname "Mehdi."

He began his career in 2018 through Afghan Film, where he built early experience across acting and production work. Since then, he has continued developing his craft through local Afghan film and media projects, with a focus on learning, collaboration, and supporting the growth of cinema culture among Afghan creatives.

On television, he is associated online with the series Argvan, broadcast on TOLO TV, as part of his acting path.

Alongside acting, Mahdi is active in music and composition, with an emphasis on instrumental and cinematic production that blends modern rhythms and rap-influenced elements. His goal is often described as creating music that supports mood and reflection, especially for people impacted by conflict and displacement. He has also explored vocals at times, but much of his output is presented as non-verbal or score-like work.
